Curling

Curling is a sport which is many hundreds of years old, and has been a great time killer since it's invention back in the early 1500's. There are plenty of locations to go curling in Abbotsford, BC. Possibly the most popular is the Abbotsford Curling Club. They have multiple leagues and teams for all ages and genders. They also have a store with all imaginable curling equipment and paraphernalia.  If you're interested in joining, there's always a tournament of some sorts going on, and it's never too late to join a team! The Abbotsford Curling Club meets at 2555 McMillan Road (Abbotsford Curling Rink), the date and time depends on which team and league you belong to. Not into the big team and league competition? No problem. There's always drop in times for you and a few friends to stop off and play a quick game. And you're not limited to just the Abbotsford Curling Rink, you can also use the Abbotsford Rec Centre which can be converted for up to five different sheets. The Abbotsford Rec Centre is located at 34696 Old Yale Road (Links for more arena details can be found at the bottom of this post). If you're interested in hosting a curling party, both rinks can be rented out. The Abbotsford Curling Rink can host up to 180 people (not all on the ice at once, obviously) at a time, and has a banquet hall, a lounge and viewing area, six sheets, two locker rooms and concession stands.
